Chief Executive Officer
The CEO is the leader and model of young womanhood for the chapter and should empower and enable other aspiring chapter leaders. She is accountable for the events, actions, and programs of the chapter.
Chief Administrative Officer
The CAO supervises the general mechanics of the chapter. The CAO reports to the CEO and communicates regularly with the administrative advisor.
The executive assistant coordinates administrative procedures within the chapter. She preserves chapter history and guides the chapter to reach its award potential by channeling its strengths to meet the criteria of the individual awards for which they choose to apply. The executive assistant reports to the CAO and communicates regularly with the administrative advisor. In the absence of the CAO, she performs the CAO’s role.
Chief Operating Officer
The COO shall promote nobler womanhood and the moral growth of chapter members. She is responsible for implementing a risk management program within the chapter. She reports to the CEO and communicates regularly with the operations advisor and/or advisory board chairman for development issues and to the risk management advisor.
Human Resources Director
The human resources director plans and coordinates the chapter’s sisterhood activities in accordance with risk management guidelines of the Fraternity and FIPG. She is responsible for overall chapter morale. She also assists the COO with all administrative duties. She reports to the COO and communicates regularly with the operations advisor and the risk management advisor.
Maddie Murray and Emma Davis
Social events allow members to connect, bond, and create the memories that transcend time and distance. The event director plans and coordinates the chapter’s social activities in accordance with risk management guidelines of the Fraternity and FIPG. She reports to the COO and communicates regularly with the risk management advisor.
Chief Educational Officer
The CEdO is responsible for maintaining Kappa Alpha Theta ritual as it is documented in the Ritual Book and applied at all Fraternity events, as well as coordinating the presentations of all educational programs. She reports to the CEO and communicates regularly with the education advisor.
Lily Sandblom and Paige Morris
The scholarship director motivates, challenges, and encourages each member to achieve her individual best while encouraging intellectual curiosity and the true pursuit of knowledge. She reports to the CEdO and communicates with the scholarship advisor.
Caroline Berning and Rachel Volkmann
New Member Directors
The new member director is responsible for implementation of member orientation. She reports to the CEdO and communicates regularly with the education advisor.
Maintain the Kappa Alpha Theta ritual as it is documented in the Ritual Book and applied at all Fraternity events. She reports to the CEdO and communicates regularly with the ritual advisor.
Chief Financial Officer
The CFO supervises all financial operations of the chapter. She supervises the finance committee which consists of the facility management director, event director, finance advisor, and CEO.
The archivist & historian preserves chapter history.
The finance assistant supports the CFO and the chapter to ensure the chapter is financially stable and healthy. Her role is largely determined by the CFO and the needs of the chapter. She serves on the finance committee. She reports to the CFO. She communicates regularly with the finance advisor.
Facility Management Director
The facility management director supervises the facility operations of the chapter. She serves on the finance committee. She reports to the CFO. She communicates regularly with the facility management advisor, the facility corporation board (FCB) or the Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) property manager, and the Fraternity facility consultant (FFC).
Chief Recruiting Officer
The CRO ensures that the ideals and interests of the Fraternity are fostered through recruitment and membership selection. She reports to the CEO and communicates regularly with the recruitment advisor and recruitment and Panhellenic district director.
Lauren Rogers and Emma Dugan
The recruitment director supervises and coordinates all aspects of recruitment events. She reports to the CRO and communicates regularly with the recruitment advisor.
Chief Marketing Officer
The CMO will positively promote the image of Kappa Alpha Theta and its members to all audiences. She executes all marketing efforts. She is responsible for all materials for external and internal chapter publications (both print and online formats). The CMO serves as the communication link between her college chapter, chapter alumnae, and local alumnae. She also serves as the chapter “expert” and coordinator for Theta Foundation programs and giving opportunities. She reports to the CEO and communicates regularly with the marketing advisor, Fraternity staff, and Theta Foundation staff, as needed.
The service & philanthropy director helps members exercise the widest influence for good. The service & philanthropy director coordinates the chapter service program. She is also responsible for overseeing the coordination of the chapter’s main signature philanthropy event(s) and any other philanthropic event(s) the chapter sponsors or co-sponsors.
Online Media Director
Modern technology enables us to express creatively, communicate effectively, and build relationships without regard to place. The online media director helps make this possible through supporting the responsible chapter adoption of appropriate technology. The online media director is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the chapter website and social media sites.
Alumnae Engagement Director
The alumnae engagement director serves as the communication link between her college chapter, chapter alumnae, and local alumnae. She shares the commitment of lifetime membership with collegians by promoting opportunities for alumnae/collegian interaction and post-college Theta involvement. She reports to the CMO and communicates with the marketing advisor.
Chief Panhellenic Officer
The role of the CPO is to serve as the chapter delegate to the college Panhellenic council. She reports to the CEO and communicates regularly with the Panhellenic advisor, campus fraternity/sorority advisor, and the recruitment and Panhellenic district director.
The Service Chairman is in charge of all service activities outside of work with our philanthropy. She works to organize activities such as donation drives, service involvement with outside community organizations, and coordinates involvement with campus-wide service events.
